Aaron B. Kershaw’s professional journey began at a young age, managing a Domino's Pizza as a senior in high school. This early experience laid the foundation for his robust understanding of corporate operations and efficiency. Aaron’s formative years in youth organizations like the Boys and Girls Clubs and the Boy Scouts of America instilled a deep sense of duty and community service.

Throughout his career, Aaron made significant impacts at organizations such as Habitat for Humanity of Westchester and Guiding Eyes for the Blind. At Habitat for Humanity, he led successful media campaigns that enhanced community engagement. 

At Guiding Eyes for the Blind, he created training videos and educated staff on how to manage and film in-house productions. His broadcasting career at WVOX 1460AM and 93.5 WRTN FM showcased his ability to handle diverse content, from local issues to national political discourse.

Media Production and Marketing Expertise

In 1996, he pioneered one of the first community-oriented websites in Westchester County; Westchester1.com, setting a standard for online community engagement. He is a published author, and briefly published a entertainment publication as an extension of his "On The Inside Radio" and website as part of HomeTown Medias Circulation. 

Aaron spearheaded media production initiatives for many Westchester businesses working with Habitat for Humanity of Westchester for 13 years, significantly boosting donation efforts.

His work in media production extended to directing and producing parades for the City of New Rochelle and the Village of Elmsford. During COVID-19, he single-handedly shot a 30-minute Memorial Day multi-camera special for Elmsford.

Diverse Career Experiences

Aaron’s career has spanned many industries and roles, each adding a unique layer to his professional expertise. He holds a towing certification and spent two years driving a flatbed tow truck for the New York State Police in Putnam County while attending college. 

Working briefly as a Licensed Locksmith he installed 90% of the locks at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City. These diverse experiences reflect his wide-ranging interests and willingness to explore new fields.

As a videographer, Aaron’s work ranged from judges' chambers in Brooklyn to conversations with Judge Alex at a Larchmont tavern. He has directed and produced parades for various municipalities, showcasing his ability to utilize new technology and wireless cameras for comprehensive event coverage.

As part of his nonprofit endeavors, Aaron plans to offer these services to nonprofit agencies to help them stream their events and reach a broader audience. Aaron has spent past 10 years providing photography services, working such Orgs as BCW, MINM, and many others, including Marketing Agencies such as Thomson & Bender

Strategic Leadership in Financial Education

Aaron’s extensive background as a licensed financial advisor and operations partner has positioned him as a strategic leader in financial education. At Ameriprise Financial Services, he assisted in managing $600 million in assets, overseeing client onboarding, account openings, money movement, and annual client reports. His meticulous attention to detail ensured personalized and thorough financial advice for each client. 

Aaron also strategically managed social media marketing initiatives, complying with stringent FINRA regulations, and spearheaded monthly email campaigns to engage and expand the client base.

Educational Background and Acknowledgements

Aaron earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Management, with a focus on Finance and Economics, from Manhattanville University. His education was funded through the VA Veterans Vocational Rehabilitation Program, reflecting his commitment to leveraging opportunities provided by taxpayer support.

Aaron’s military service in the United States Marines Corps culminated in an honorable discharge due to service-connected disabilities, underscoring his resilience and dedication to growth. He often remarks, "What better way to repay than by paying it forward," signaling his focus on using his education to benefit others.

His veterans initiative provides free financial and business plans to veterans, a cause very close to his heart. Aaron is also forming a 501(c)(3) for Building Blocks Literacy, a veteran initiative dedicated to uplifting veterans through education and financial counseling and support. 

He is developing an educational system and platform to provide online classes that supplement traditional education systems, offering veterans and adults learning pathways to achieve success. Aaron’s goal is to make this education affordable and effective, helping individuals better understand how to manage their businesses or advance in their careers.
